Chives have a mild onion flavour. Great in salads, vegetable
and egg dishes, with fish, chicken and mild flavoured meats. Chopped chives make a great garnish.



CHIVES HINTS

Add chopped chives to soups and sauces.
Chopped chives go well with scrambled eggs and omelettes.
Finely chop chives and add to a shrimp cocktail.
Add chives to cooking water for vegetables, poaching fish and chicken.
Use long strands of chives to garnish dinner plates.
Chives are great to tie green beans or long strips of capsicums for a stylish presentation.
