All you need to get the best value from your Living
Herbs is to give them some tender loving care, a little water and
to pick the leaves regularly to help promote growth. WATERING
Don't overwater. Keep the soil in the pot slightly moist and avoid
wetting the leaves as this can cause disease. WHERE
TO PLACE THE POTS
You can build up a mini herb garden with a cluster of Living Herbs
right on your kitchen bench or window sill. Place them on drip saucers
away from direct sunlight. You can leave the decorative wrap on the
plant but its probably best to remove it to help the plant breathe.
REPLANTING
Depending on the season, it is possible to replant potted Living Herbs
in an outside garden or planter box. Remember though, Living Herbs
have grown up in heated growing houses. They prefer a warm sheltered
spot. FERTILISING
It shouldn't be necessary to feed your Living Herbs. They have been
nurtured with balanced nutrients hydroponically during their seedling
and growing stages. After a couple of weeks, you could add a little
weak liquid fertiliser, but don't overdo it. |
